She told me she always imagines, she gets some sorts of award and giving speech of her own. She really wants to be a famous, strong women.
But she is very SENSITIVE, she don't dare to keep pet nor keep feelings to any objects because she is afraid to they left her. This reminds me of when people really treasure something they put it very carefully, sightless and really easy to be scared.
However, for me, she's more negative. She doesn't even have a chance to raise one pet because she raised some golden fish when she was very little. Ever since they died, she cried for a very long time and never ever had any pets.
This picture gives me a sense of very light, gentle wind blow through your face, or some leaves fly over your face.. It's also like a 16 years old country side girl running over in a garden, her smile bloom like this. So how can I sho the smile?

She said she like this music video. I think it's because: It's a very big stage and she admire the singer's feelings of standing there alone and will not be interrupted. This gives her satisfaction. I want to design something can protect her from outside world's voice and
black and white is simple but powerful for her. She doesn't like complicate things.
So I started looking at some culture which are young, powerful and free, like the Beat Generation, punk,libertarianism...Because I want my design presents a power of youth, and the power of youth is immortal. All of these people are trying to break the wall and create their own world, no matter in musical, political or a literary way.
One thing can only be energetic again by be broken up and remix again. Energy hide between the broken pieces.
I got this picture from a music video of her favorite signer, I quite like this blurred effect. It's like a young girl's inner heart, love some boy secretly and scared to be seen through by other people. That kind of simple happiness match this pale blue
This campaign also gives me a sense of Monet's work. Beautiful flowers, pale color, sense of ambiguous and blurred.

Every miumiu campaign is expressing the feeling of young girls. It's saying the youth is beautiful, the cars, dresses. Official miumiu's campaign uses crowded collages to gives a guide of colour and what's the new looks. It's more female.
All the campaigns clearly shows that this brand is designed for wealth young lady who are going to holidays with their girlfriends, most of models are not appearing alone. She of the designs are sporty, reminds me of some royal sport like horse riding.
Nomatter men or women, D&G's campaign is always full OF PEOPLE. It's always about family and friends, which is important italian tradition. family, children, fridens. and food and very good sunshine sometimes noisy
Every campaign is narrative rather than just models standing there. I think this brand maybe focus more on the atmosphere of family union or friends' party than just a fashion campaign to show their works. It's more like a family photo.

They are very girlish and live elements and designs, which I think is because she wants to use objects to relief her stress of being old. However, flower can die easily, so are other things all over the world. So, why not loose ourselves and enjoy of dying in the river of time? Rather than being sad and crying of the fact that you are going to old, why not enjoy the moment and live in the moment.
Water, in Chinese culture, is a symbol of peace and fluency, is also in the opposite way of fire.However, if there is too much water or stuck in the middle of a sea, it's more like trapped, despaired and lonely.
In tadao ando's work, I always see a sense of limitation and feels like I'm in prison. Very high wall seems restricted people's moving area, although it's just a library. I usually feel not welcomed and rejected when I see buildings like these, I think it's too exclusive.
I started wandering if that's why my client like his work? Because she trapped herself? Because she wants to be perfect, she wants to be admired, she wants fame. But meanwhile she trapped herself in the little circle of perfection, and doesn't dare to come out.
What make this piece powerful? The red colour. Will it looks same if it's yellow or green? The repetition. Repetition of no direction, repetition of irregular. Will it looks same if it's clean and clear full lips? It might looks beautiful, but less powerful, less madness. Be mad, be daring doesn't mean to have to be sketchy and rushed. It could be in a more designed way, more specific way, to show the madness-- It's more terrifying.
Gone patheticly mad. In some way I think it's beautiful, because I see some spirit in it. It's much more beautiful than empty and useless "beauty". I like how this artist let this performance became powerful and strong- in both visual and spiritual way.
The reason I choose this picture is because I think it's quite narrative in a simple way. Honestly I don't really know what its about, but I think the artist want to express some kind of emotion or feeling rather than a story.(which definitely can be). The line s become more and more, the space in between trends to become a circle from a triangle. It's like the OCD of being perfect, keep and keep being pathetically mad . If you look down to the details the lines are not perfectly joined together which means different angles of lines create a space, and the trend is to make it smaller and smaller. I see a way of obsession and madness in this regular and straight form.
But it's also the fact that if the lines are wrong at the beginning, it is not possible that the extra space could be wipe of. If you zoom up the picture, it will always be there. It's true that it can be filled with the thickness of lines , but the fact is it is there. You can never wipe it out of your mind. Might follow you forever. It's all about imperfection.
The little dots you accidently draw, your the ink you accidently pure out.... There can't be perfect in life. Life is a endless circulation between destroying and correcting. Our daily life, our behaviour, our relationship with others.... My client said that she dares not to keep any pet nor put any feelings into any objects because she is afraid of loosing it and can't leave without it , but in my opinion, that it all what life is: gaining, losing, fixing, destroying..... our environment are changing, our ourselves--our skin, our organs, our face. This reminds me that my client's last project was about "will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful", and she think that in a negative way.I do feel bad about myself, and I do feel sad about losing them but it won't be very long. Because I know that maybe few days later I will have something new to interests me.
That is important is that you need to find the balance in your life.
I want to design a piece of object on the body and use it to show her obsession and desire of fame and fear of losing.
Honestly I've never studyed minimalism before, and it's a little bit different than what I thought it would be. I thought it would be more simble like one single dot or line or something like that.
kengo Kuma is the architect she likes. After I saw his work, I think it's really about space. It's really loose, the flow of architecture and it's environment is very loose and thus the whole environment gives me a sense of relax.
This gives me a feeling of loneliness and sadness of daylight fading away. It also represents the shame of loosing something, like singing for her.

The interesting part of this picture is it shows the contrast between human and this building, and also express the sense of loneliness, sense of arrogant from it.
In this picture, I do like how he used water spaces and natural plant, but I don't really like how he used curves, because it doesn't really match.

The Beat Generation started in 1960. Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac, Lucien Carr. At that time Jazz was the most popular music. They wanted change, a revolution, a emote, to change the dull and "dreadful" literature and poem. They started The New Vision, a new magazine composed by their own fiction and poems, named by Allen. They looking for changes. Trying to create the writing in a brand new way, they seeks inspirations by messing up they brain.
I like the way they tears up all the novels and dictionaries and stick the pieces up on the wall, to create a kind of new literature.
THE NEW VISION ASSUMED THE DEATH OF SQUARE MORALIY AND REPLACED THAT MEANING WITH BELIEF IN CREATIVITY. I THINK W WERE QUITE MORALISTIC IN A WAY.
It's definitely different with the building on the street of whatever big city because it has more space, it'e much more quite than the street, it's more like a sense of private building, in order to provide a sense of peace and relax. I think the person lives here is more likely a very rich person who can afford, and would like to have some personal space to self-cultivation. Or, it could be a person who believes in Buddhism or something like that. The whole spirit of Buddhism and some Japanese religion or belief, is about finding your inner self. One can truly be peace meanwhile have a very strong mind can lives in places like this. The fluent of the structure is very strong, powerful yet easy and simple. A thing which is more simple. It's clearly showed that the building and yard are structured in a very geometric yet simple way, almost very squared and made by rectangles. This reminds me of "QI", which is a Chinese thing. Some religious like Buddhism and "dao" believes that there are QI in human's body. I think people who lives and walk in this buildings must be a muster of QI because the straight form is very unimpeded.
So, after this long analyses, it's really match that she really likes simple things, she likes minimalism, but I think the power she has is only pretending. She pretends to be strong and independent, but inner heart she is a little girl.
